Best Places to Visit in Spain with Kids

If there is anything that can’t be denied about Spain aside from their love for soccer, it is the fact that it is a family-friendly country with amazing accommodation facilities, good food to satisfy your cravings, an immeasurable range of tourist attractions that appeal to both kids and adults and transportation system for visitors.

Thanks to our friends and neighbors in Arizona who told us about the awesome vacation spots in Spain.  We have since traveled to Europe with them twice.  They are the co-owners of a Tow Truck Chandler Roadside assistance company.

Barcelona

Certain things you’ll find in Barcelona include a wax museum, theme parks, a chocolate museum and any other type of museum with interactive displays, beaches, and beautiful gardens. This city is one of the most welcoming for kids in Spain.

Mediterranean Spain

The Mediterranean Spain may be a total cliché for holidays during the summer, but it’s still a great place to spend a vacation if you are with your family for a holiday. From Catalonia up in the North to Andalucía in the Southern region, you’ll watch the gentle waters of the beaches and various activities and attractions for kids.

Inland Spain

Spain’s interior may not be considered to be the initial place to visit if you go for a family vacation, but when you see the fascinating cities, tiny villages, and the concentrations of castles in the city, you’ll find out for yourself it’s worth considering.

Eating Out

Spaniards hold two things dear to their heart- food and children. Children are always welcome into sit-down restaurants and busy bars. Truthfully, you’ll barely feel uncomfortable while your kids run around because the more formal the place, the more uncomfortable you’ll probably feel. The ample patio or outdoor terraces are perfect for families in summer, but you have to be super-careful because it’s highly possible to lose sight of your kids wandering around the crowd. In addition, you shouldn’t always expect to see so many restaurants with high chairs, but many restaurants around do these days.

We traveled with friends we agree that the food in the Southern part of Spain was some of the best we have tasted in our travels together. That’s saying a lot!
